As its campus expanded to meet the needs of a growing student population, the client was looking for a brighter, modern and open approach it could use for its new computer rooms and student carrels. And, in keeping with the client’s standing as a leading educational facility in Canada, it needed to find design-forward furniture that was in keeping with the school’s famous name.
Fully aware of what was at stake, fluidconcepts came up with a successful solution that would proudly uphold the school’s high reputation. We provided Post & Beam carrels (in zig-zag and linear varieties) equipped with light-emitting materials as a way to bring light deep into the interior of the facility.
Made by our designers to reflect the latest interior design trends, our furniture contributed to the client’s standing as a well-respected modern university. The result: 195 of our computer carrels, kiosks, and touchdown centers were used to furnish the client’s computer lab, a bespoke solution that fully satisfied the client.
